STAFF BENEFIT FROM TRAINING ON FILING INCOME TAX RETURNS

Staff drawn from the State Department for Correctional Services have benefited from a training programme on filing income tax returns.

The two-day, pre-populated income tax returns sensitization training, conducted by officers from the Kenya Revenue Authority is meant to enable beneficiaries competently navigate through Kenya’s evolving tax compliance environment.

According to Margaret Irungu, the Taxpayer experience Chief Manager at KRA, the exercise is part of ongoing efforts by KRA to improve tax literacy levels among Kenyans by enhancing accuracy and compliance
