CS MURKOMEN WITNESSES SIGNING OF SECOND-LEVEL PERFORMANCE CONTRACTS

Interior and National Administration Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen says accountability and efficiency remains key in implementing government performance contracts.

Speaking as he coordinated the signing of the second-level performance contracts for three state departments and government agencies under the ministry, the CS said his office remains committed to results-based management, accountability and transparency that will guarantee quality and improve service delivery in line with the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda.

Present during the ceremony were Correctional Services Principal Secretary Dr. Salome Beacco, her interior Counterpart Dr. Raymond Omollo, National Government Coordination PS Ahmed Abdisalam and heads various government agencies.

The performance contracts are meant to enhance accountability, results-driven service delivery, and align state departments with national priorities.
